Midnight Meme Of The Day! To Recap: What Were Republicans Really Celebrating On Saturday?

There's been endless commentary about The Diaper Don's pathetic 50 million dollar birthday parade this past weekend. Yes, it was out of sync with human decency and yes, it was a sick usurpation of Flag Day and a celebration of our army's 250th birthday, but I would hate for people to forget the specifics of what Trump's battalions of 77,000,000 zombie sociopathic voters and psychos were celebrating not just this past weekend but ever since their Dear Leader started literally shiting all over the oval office and the rest of this country since 1/20/25. Hence the cartoon above, and this one below:

Now, no sooner than I had sent the above post to Howie, Trump's masked GOP Gestapo has arrested New York City mayoral candidate Brad Lander as he was escorting a defendant out of immigration court at New York City's Federal Plaza. This was the third time Lander, the current City Comptroller, had served as an escort but the first time he was arrested for doing so. New York's primary is this coming Tuesday. Lander has a proven track record of excellent support of effective healthcare policy for seniors and city workers and his campaign for mayor has been going well, perhaps too well for the likes of the Trump administration and local right wing fake Democrats like Andrew Cuomo and the current mayor and Trump ally Eric Adams.

Whether it's throwing U.S. Senators to the floor and handcuffing them as was done with Senator Padilla in Los Angeles this past weekend, sending goons into the Capitol Building to assault cops back in 2020, or inciting fellow nutjobs to murder state and local politicians, it is more than clear that this is Trump policy and it's coming direct to us from the oval office. Please note that trying to find any Republican anywhere that will speak up against this behavior is a fool's errand. Instead you will find quite the opposite. In fact, just a few days ago, one of Utah's psycho Senators, the utterly despicable Mike Lee, was posting sick jokes about the murders and shootings of Minnesota Democrats on his twitter account. Have any Republicans condemned him for it? Nope.
