She drank Donnie Psycho's Kool-Aid and she died. She died just like those who drank Jim Jones's cyanide-laced Flavor Aid. Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes. I have no sympathy for Ashli. She was a traitor. She was shot dead while Republican Congressman Andrew Clyde of Georgia stood shaking behind the officer who shot her. Clyde was screaming in panic that Babbitt and her cohorts might break through the door. The same congressman, along with his entire party, now calls Ashli Babbitt a tourist, a patriot, and a fallen hero. They are all insane. The sooner this whole country admits that, the better, but they won't. Too many of us are too naive and too often just plain too dumb, suffering from misplaced beliefs in fairytales about the inate goodness, fariness, and decency of humanity.
Ashli Babbitt was about to be the first one of a rabid gang breaking through the door to the House Chamber, a gang of thuggish Republican traitors, sent by Trump, who were hellbent on breaking through that door to murder Vice President Pence, Speaker Pelosi, AOC, and just about anyone else they could get their treasonous paws on. Republicans call Ashli a hero. They do it over and over. Not far from where I live, in the town of Hauppauge, NY, they even held a candlelight vigil to memorialize her. This kind of perversion is currently running rampant among Republicans all over the country. To Republicans all over the wackjob media, from FOX "News" and its fetid offspring on down (or should I say up?), Ashli Babbitt is a martyr in Republican circles much the same way Osama bin Laden is a martyr to similar fanatics. Call it like it is.
We need a wall. Let us build a Wall Of Traitors, a wall with the name of every one of the traitors who stormed the Capitol on 1/6. Build it right outside the Capitol Building, maybe even on the exact spot where the traitors erected the gallows where they planned to hang Pence and Pelosi. Never forget! Yes! Build that wall! Let the pigeons perch on that wall and shit all over it so their shit runs down over the names. Let true, patriotic Americans come and spit on those names and curse those names to the heavens. And make the RNC pay for it.
