Hmmm, That Kinda Reminds Me Of What Happened To Mussolini!!!Â

Do you like it when the Republicans hang huge banners of their Beloved Dear Leader Traitor Trump on buildings all over Washington? Coming soon to your town, too? Listen up, to Republicans, this is porn. To them, it's not as good as hanging up huge banners of naked 13 year old girls (and boys) all over the place, but that's coming. You think psycho pedo fan nutballs like Pam "Rape Room" Bondie and her compadre Mike "Rape Room" Johnson haven't thought of that?
It's Labor Day and here we are with an White House and a Congress full of racists, homophobes, and pedohile fans who not only have jobs but, psychopaths and sociopaths that they all are, see their job one as making as many Americans sick, miserable, and even dead. As I always say, Washington, particularly but not exclusively, is a place for Bizarro World backwards, upside down thinking knuckle dragging goons. Oh, and did I mention that we have a "Supreme" Court that not only supports the whole damn deliberate clusterphuck and milquetoast minority leaders like Schumer and Jeffries who think that opposing any of this means you "write strongly worded letters" and that's all. Christ, letters to people who can't even read them even if they were inclined to do so! Brilliant! Genius! Our lowest of the lowest common denominator political and justice systems at work.
But, hey, it's Labor Day so I'll just focus on one department in our fabulous government of psychopaths. It's called the Labor Dept. even if the goal of the slugs in D.C. see their mission is taking everyone's job away or just turning us all into slaves. And here, with that in mind, I present a synopsis, not every detail but a synopsis, a bare bones synopsis of what the Trump Labor Department has wrought. And don't go thinking anything will change if he dies by the time you read this or soon thereafter. Trump hasn't done this alone; far from it. Here be the list. I copped it from the interwebs. I thought I better do that before the info gets disappeared by some sort of ICE internet patrol.Â
Personnel actions
Firing of Bureau of Labor Statistics head: In August 2025, Trump fired BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer after her agency reported disappointing jobs figures. Trump claimed the numbers were "rigged and manipulated for political purposes". Economists, including some appointed during Trump's previous term, have strongly condemned the action, stating it damages the independence and credibility of federal economic data.
Nomination of E.J. Antoni: Following the firing, Trump nominated E.J. Antoni to lead the BLS. Antoni is an economist at the Heritage Foundation and a vocal critic of federal economic data. His nomination has drawn criticism from those concerned about politicizing the agency's data collection.
Other key personnel: The administration has also nominated Jonathan Berry, a proponent of weakening wage protections, for the role of Solicitor of Labor.Â
Regulatory rollbacks and policy changes
Reduced minimum wage for federal contractors: The administration rescinded an executive order that raised the minimum wage for federal contractors. The minimum wage on new contracts reverted to a lower rate, potentially cutting wages by thousands of dollars annually for full-time workers.
Targeting affirmative action for federal contractors: On his first day in office, Trump rescinded an executive order designed to enforce anti-discrimination protections for federal contractors. In July 2025, the DOL proposed permanently eliminating the requirement that federal contractors collect data to ensure non-discrimination in hiring, a move that critics say could roll back decades of progress.
Eliminating minimum wage protections: A proposed DOL rule would strip minimum wage and overtime protections from millions of domestic workers, including home health and child care providers.
Weakened protections for disabled workers: The DOL withdrew a proposed rule that would have phased out the sub-minimum wage for workers with disabilities, a practice permitted under certain waivers.
Reduced enforcement and oversight: The administration has cut funding and staffing for various DOL divisions, including the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), which critics warn could lead to increased wage theft and unsafe workplaces.
Attacks on federal employee collective bargaining: The administration issued an executive order in August 2025 that stripped collective bargaining rights from additional federal workers, building on previous efforts to weaken union power within the federal workforce.Â
Impact on workers
Riskier workplaces: According to a report by The Century Foundation, proposed regulatory changes to agencies like OSHA and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) would erode safety standards, putting workers at increased risk of injury and death.
Lower wages and lost protections: Observers from the Economic Policy Institute note that by undermining or eliminating regulations related to overtime, independent contractor status, and minimum wage for certain workers, the administration could cost workers billions in lost wages and tips.
Politicization of government data: Experts warn that firing the head of the BLS following a disappointing jobs report could severely undermine public trust in the integrity of federal economic data, a cornerstone of economic decision making.
So there ya go, a series of poisonous regulatory rollbacks affecting wages, worker protections, and some contractors that look like they're designed to doom personal economies and the national economy just for starters. Good thing we don't have a nationwide Health Day, right? I mean, just think what a whole party of Republican Psychopaths could do with that idea!!!
