Midnight Meme Of the Day! By Their Speaker Shall Thee Know Them!

by Noah

It makes total sense that Republican representatives in the House would nominate Gym Jordan as their Speaker for the simple reason that he represents so much of the essence of the Republican Party, as do the tens of millions of Republican freaks who vote for such representatives. Republicans in both houses of Congress are what amounts to a pro-rape caucus as I have written here many times before. Here's just one instance.

It's not just Gym Shower Jordan that they wish to be known by of course. There are so many more. They love Trump. They love Gaetz. They love Alabama Judge Roy Moore and wanted him in the $enate. They love Judge Kavanaugh so much that he's on the so-called Supreme Court. True sociopaths, way too many Republicans have always believed that a child should carry a rapist's baby as a "gift from God" at the same time they have believed, in the words of former Repug Rep Todd Akin "the female body has ways of shutting that whole thing down." It's also nearly impossible to forget what Pennsylvania rep Steve Friend, when talking about pregnancy due to rape, said-

The odds are one in millions and millions and millions. And there is a physical reason for that. Rape, obviously, is a traumatic experience. When that traumatic experience in undergone, a woman secretes a certain secretion which has a tendency to kill sperm.

Here's Bush judicial appointee, Judge James Leon Holmes:

Concern for rape victims is a red herring because conceptions from rape occur with approximately the same frequency as snowfall in Miami.

How about Texas nutjob Clayton Williams who famously expressed the typical Republican attitude towards rape back in 2000 by saying:

Rape is kinda like the weather. If it's inevitable, relax and enjoy it.

That's just a small example. There's more here and it's not just Republican men. How interesting it is that the Republican Party keeps doubling and tripling down on what they are and who and what they stand for. It's almost as if they want to make extra sure that we know. Nominating Ohio's Rep. Jordan was only a matter of time. It is truly who they are.
