Not much serves better as a symbol of Trump's extended war on this country than literally taking a wrecking ball to the White House. On 1/6/21 Diaper Boy sent his dirtbag mob of red-hatted Nazis right into the Capitol Building to beat, maim, and even kill cops and then piss and shit all over the place. This assault on our White House dovetails nicely with that for sure.
Remember when The Diaper Don said that the White House would not be harmed by the construction of his planned uber tacky ballroom monstrosity? How about when he said he would be paying for it himself, out of his own extremely smelly fly-buzzed pants pockets. Both were lies, of course. I know you're shocked, but I guess we should be happy that he hasn't put on his crown and his flak jacket and flown a plane over 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. and dropped a few thousand gallons of feces and urine, saved from his diapers, on it all. Mind you, that would be the ultimate in republican sentiment towards the country, wouldn't it? At this point, I'm waiting for Trump's announcement of ICE Air Force to do just that before he flees to Argentina with Stephen Miller and KKKaroline or maybe to an already gifted mansion somewhere deep in Russia where he can live out his days next door to a retired Moscow Mitch.
So, when you look at the above photo used for the above meme, do you assume Traitor Don got all the permits, followed the laws and all that? You do? Well then, silly you!!! Trump and his gang say, "We don't need no stinking permits!" Christ! Hand me my Thompson again! Here's how the process is supposed to work:
1. Initial Proposal: The White House is managed by the National Park Service (NPS) but used by the Executive Office of the President (EOP). Any proposed change, even by a sitting president, begins internally through the Office of the Curator and the White House Facilities Management Division. 2. Historic Review: The NPS, as custodian of the White House under the Presidential Residence Act and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), must review all alterations for compliance with Section 106 of the NHPA. This requires assessing potential impacts on historic and cultural resources in consultation with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) and the D.C. State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). 3. Planning & Environmental Oversight: The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) evaluates all major federal projects in the National Capital Region, including work on the White House grounds, for design, planning, and environmental impacts under NEPA (the National Environmental Policy Act). Public comment and design reviews are part of that process. 4. Aesthetic Review: The U.S. Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) reviews and advises on the design and appearance of any exterior modifications to the White House or its grounds. 5. Final Authorization: After approvals from NPS, NCPC, and CFA, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the White House Chief Usher / Facilities Management Office finalize funding, scheduling, and logistics.
Only after completing the above steps should any major construction or demolition legally begin, emphasize, "legally." Yet Trump has willfully ignored every single step. Instead, he has acted unilaterally through executive order, bypassing oversight, and ordering demolition as if he were a monarch. He and his pals in Congress saw shutting down the government as a way to do this. No one's around to stop him even if they want to make the attempt. Imagine that. The result: the people’s house, altered without the people’s consent. Also, no one has even tried to stop him. I think I'll go buy my own plane, one with a big tank.
