Yeah, what could possibly go wrong, which is precisely why social media billionaires like the total assclown depicted in the lower left of the above cartoon are intent on reinstating their beloved, The Orange Menace To Society, on their platforms. For them, wrong is right. Chaos will reign in our reality. Putin couldn't do it any better. It's a case of "Hey, Vlad, hold my beer!"
Or maybe its crack. We can be forgiven for thinking it might be. The Zucks of the world know how much they helped spread the subversive anti-America conspiracy nuttery that got their nazi boy and his congressional minions elected in 2016 and that's the obvious goal again. If I accept that they aren't unbelievably stupid or drug-addled, there can be only one other strategy behind their actions.
Here's a fine rhetorical question: You think the cigar-chomping 2-legged virus vermin that run banks and multinational corporations hate ideas like taxes, regulations, democracy, and America itself? Why the fuck not? How about those Murdochs, Zuckerbergs, and Musks of the world that run to help them set up the fourth reich of their dreams while they get to be trillionaires, literally trillionaires, in the process! "I'll let you catapult the propaganda, destroy whatever decency still remains, complete the enslavement of the masses and I get rich, richer, than rich, buy whole planets rich! I love it!!!"
Can't you just see sicko goons like those I just mentioned all having dinner together on some South Sea island owned by whoever the latest Jeffrey Epstein is and drinking to it all? I sure can!
And how many of our politicians of all parties in all countries around the world are there as special guests enjoying "the perks" of their positions? They probably toast scum like our Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan so much that those two have drinks named after them. For them, it's "I'll have another Paul Ryan!" or "I'll have another Moscow Mitch! Can you whip me up one of those old Maggie Thatcher cocktails? Damn, I could go for a Steak ala Idi Amin right 'bout now!" You know the names. In any body of politicians anywhere, they are the majority.
And still, a suicidal populace votes for more, most often even in the rare cases where there's a reasonable option. Suicidal, did I say? Well, case in point: The J-6 report is being lauded, especially by the naive folks in the media who have bought into the slippery, poisonous mercury words they've been fed by their sources in the DC cesspool. If you notice, the report focuses on Trump and his heinous, treasonous crew of oath keepers, proud boys and girls, and his staff and advisors and backers. That was the least they could do so they did just that. Now, though, after the report, we learn what anyone with a brain always suspected, which is that Trump and his people had a mole inside the FBI with direct contacts to Oleg Deripaska. Add Charlie McGonigal's name to the all time Hall of Traitors. Any evidence to the contrary? I'll wait. Nah, screw it. If it walks like a duck... Until then, put him right next to his buddies Rudy Giuliani and William Barr. I've always said here that Washington takes care of its own and the J-6 panel sure didn't want to dig too deep. They never do. Some of the distinguished panel no doubt thought we can't handle the truth. Others like Liz Cheney, who probably sees herself running for president someday, just took a similar page out of her daddy's book and just didn't want it known at all. Hence, the edited report, available at all 3 bookstores left in America.
And, now, we are also learning that there really was an investigation into the role that our social media and others played in promoting Trump. Some people are so goddamn naive or stupid or both that they think we're wiser now and that a J-6 could never happen again now that we've seen it happen. Such people go through life under the misapprehension that humankind is so essentially good that they will always do the right thing. That's why it's especially irresponsible and egregious that the findings (The report is titled "Social Media & The Hanuary 6th Attack On The U.S. Capitol") of the J-6 Purple Team's investigation of social media's role in J-6 were left on the cutting room floor instead of being included in the over 800 page report. Yes, the Purple Team pointed out that things like Twitter or Meta or Facebook or whatever they're called next week had played a very huge role in convincing way too many dumbasses that the 2020 election was rigged and made the violent events of J-6 inevitable. Some employees of social media platforms even screamed warnings about it, all to no avail. Gee, what a shocker. The perps knew. The election wasn't rigged but J-6 sure was. They were warned. The Zuckerbergs of the world made a choice.
The conservative element saw a means to an end. They all knew the role social media played in J-6 and they knew it before it happened. But, now, over two years later, why else would you give the leader of all that another chance when, in fact, he and his entire team should have faced a government-funded firing squad two years ago! Zuckerberg, Murdoch, Musk, Goebbels. The latter took his own life as the forces of retribution closed in. Now, unfortunately, there are no forces of retribution, of any kind.
