Yes, they're doing it all out in the open while America sleeps. Americans prefer to sleep. If the danger alarm goes off, they just throw a shoe at it, turn over, and go back to sleep.
According to Peter Navarro, one of Trump's own personal Official White House Goons, over 100 Congresspersons and $enators were in on 1/6 and they were led by Arizona's Paul Gosar in the House and "Ted" Cruz in the $enate. All 100+ took the same oath and it meant nothing, zero to them. These traitors don't even mind being open about it. Why? Because those in power in Washington, in a show of true bipartisanship, have always been dedicated to white washing and sweeping the crimes of those in their own class under the rug.
Navarro has outlined his planning of the attempted 1/6 coup, done with key Trump ally Steve Bannon, in his new book "In Trump Time." I guess he's been worried that Mark Meadows and others have been getting too much credit. Navarro repeated the plan, which he and Bannon refer to as "The Green Bay Sweep" on his own podcast and in an interview for the Daily Beast. Their Green Bay Sweep was named after a power play used by the NFL's Green Bay Packers (the only publicly owned non-profit team in all of the major American sports leagues), in the early 1960s. Neither Navarro or Bannon appear to have seen the irony of republicans choosing the Packer's old play or going back in time 60 years for the inspiration. I guess they decided that calling the plan "Operation Rommel" or "Panzer" was a tad too obvious.
Navarro says the effort to throw out the 2020 election and install Oh Great Republican God Trump in a dictatorship is a very proud boy about his plan although he deeply regrets the failure. You don't have to take my word for it when Navarro will proudly tell you himself.
We spent a lot of time lining up over 100 congressmen, including some senators. It started out perfectly. At 1 p.m., Gosar and Cruz did exactly what was expected of them. It was a perfect plan. And it all predicated on peace and calm on Capitol Hill. We didn’t even need any protestors, because we had over 100 congressmen committed to it.
Right! Sure Peter! You didn't need no stinkin' "protestors!" Protestors? I thought you Republican Nazi assclowns called them "tourists." Protestors my ass. Pete, baby, why not just cut to the chase and call your red-hatted minions what they are, ie. terrorists? Yeah, I get it, we're supposed to forget your team's pre-coup rally at the Ellipse where your bossman Donnie, flanked by more of your Treason Elites like Mo Brooks and Rudy Giuliani, told the gathered mob of white supremacist a-holes to "fight like hell" and "take back the country." Your attempt to separate your plan from the violence is beyond pathetic. It's like the family cat looking at you all nice and innocently when you come home to find the flower vase in a million pieces on the floor. Your plan and the murdering mob was all clearly part of the same thing. Only a mind that's spent too much time in Washington could or would see it any other way. We heard the Ellipse speech and we saw your boy $enator Josh "Pride Of Missouri" Hawley cheering the mob on to the murder and mayhem they committed. Surely there should be, must be, at least a manslaughter charge that fits you and Bannon, along with Hawley, and Trump, and anyone else the Ellipse Pep Rally, not to mention some nice fat charges deserving of a firing squad or maybe just a hanging at the gallows your guys erected outside the Capitol on that day of infamy. Oh, and who paid for the wood? The same people that paid for the rally advertising and placards I bet.
If we had a real justice system in this country all 100+ of Navarro and Bannon's co-conspirators along with all who egged on the terrorists at the Ellipse Rally plus people like Kimberly Guilfoyle who raised the money for the rally would already have been tried, convicted and done away with in one form or another by now, but maybe that's just me. I have a vivid imagination when it comes to justice. In fact, in my total fantasy world, there's a large prison at the shore of one of those Pacific islands that has a volcano that features boiling hot MAGA-red lava that creeps just a couple of inches per day on its journey into the sea. The prison has plenty of barred windows so the inmates can watch the lava's progress, of course. That seems only fair considering how the inmates have treated us in recent times.
