Republican voters wanted a Nazi so they got a Nazi. They wanted a president they could personally relate to and that's exactly what they have. The Nazi promise of Nixon, Reagan, and the Bushes is now just about fully realized. Hey, and don't forget Pat Buchanan! Today's republicans would also vote for him in a DC minute!

So, what did the GOP's favorite Nazi (other than old Adolf himself) do now? Well, the meme above tells the tale. Herr Trump has begun weaving tales of kinder, gentler Nazis by claiming that his Nazi role models treated their prisoners humanely. As he compared the Israeli hostages formerly held by HAMAS, he recounted conversations he had (or maybe just thinks he had) with some of the released Israelis.

"I said to them, was there any sign of love? Did the, Hamas, show any signs of like, help? Or liking you? Did they wink? Did they give you a piece of bread extra? Did they give you a meal on the side? … Like, you know, what happened in Germany?"  

That's right. You've got it. In Trump's mind, what happened to Jews in Germany during the Hitler years wasn't so bad. Now the countdown to the day and hour that Trump, Stephen Miller, Karoline Leavitt, and the whole damn Trump White House start publicly proclaiming the Holocaust never happened has really begun in earnest. With most republicans, it's always been there, right below the surface, but the more their Dear Leader loses his brain function, the more the crap he really believes will be coming out in public and they'll all be right on board with it just like they always are with everything else he says and does.
