The 14 Bunker Busters Alone Cost Us $1.344 Billion!

by Noah
The cost that we taxpayers are paying out for Traitor Trump's Big Beautiful Bombing of Iran has only just begun of course but what you can read below (if you can stomach it) is just the beginning. It was drawn up by writer-analyst Todd Randall Emerson. It doesn't factor in the obvious increased costs that we'll be paying to gas up our vehicles, the costs of future probable attacks on Iranian targets and other targets in the Middle East, the potential costs of lost planes, ships, etc., the costs suffered from terrorist attacks on Americans both here and abroad, and of course there is no way to put a cost figure on the loss of lives and the costs of treating and caring for wounded military veterans or flying their remains back home to us. But don't worry, thanks to the Republican Party, no billionaire scumbag will be paying a cent for any of it, we will.
We had an enforceable agreement with Iran that was designed to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. It was negotiated by President Obama but Trump tore that up during his first term because, as you know, no republican can stand the sight of the signature of an African-American on any document whether it's a voter registration, a drivers license, or a treaty with a foreign adversary. The details of the treaty President Obama made on our (and the world's) behalf included the following:
Iran agreed to give up 98% of their enriched uranium and their centrifuges.
Iran was not allowed to build a new reactor for 25 years.
Iran agreed to never develop nuclear weapons.
Iran agreed to 24/7 access for nuclear inspectors for confirmation compliance.
Tearing up the deal made Iran understandably very reluctant to bother with any negotiations for a new deal and even more reluctant when he returned to office. What followed was Trump's failure to peacefully negotiate a new agreement that he could put his name in order to proclaim himself some sort of negotiating genius as he loves to do and maybe get that long coveted Nobel Peace Prize. Now we have his ridiculous expenditure of our money as outlined below. This bull with a syphilitic brain attack in a china shop is just one more example of Traitor Trump's psychopathological need to create chaos and then try to be "the only one who can fix things" yet again. Operation Midnight Hammer is part of his pattern just like when he made a mess out of rounding up anyone with brown skin and doubled down on it by sending the National Guard and Marines into the streets of Los Angeles. As I write this, Iran is loading up the Strait of Hormuz with mines. There will be much more of this sort of thing. Why? Because Washington refuses to do nothing but protect him and give him free reign, even if it means the end of life on Earth. Yes, the Dear Leader of the GOP is, without exaggeration, every bit of that kind of total madman. Go ahead. Don't believe it. See what happens even if it happens simultaneously with your last dying gasp.
Operation Midnight Hammer: Timeline and Cost Analysis
Estimating the cost of Operation Midnight Hammer, a 25-minute bombing campaign by the USA against Iran's nuclear facilities, involves several factors and considerations. So here is a lowball estimate of what Operation Midnight Hammer (bombing Iran by the USA) cost the American taxpayers, (this includes everyone who works in the USA including undocumented immigrants.)
To calculate the estimated price per hour for “Operation Midnight Hammer,” my research was to present a comprehensive cost breakdown alongside the specifics of the operational timeline.
Operational Timeline
1. 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time: B-2 stealth bombers took off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.
2. 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time: B-2s entered U.S. Central Command's airspace and linked up with fighter escorts.
3. Around the same time: A U.S. Navy submarine launched Tomahawk missiles at a site in Isfahan.
4. Approximately one hour later: U.S. warplanes entered Iranian airspace.
5. 6:40 p.m. - 7:05 p.m. Eastern Time: Actual Attacks on three Iranian nuclear targets occurred.
Estimated Costs Breakdown
1. GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs)
Cost: $1.344 billion (for 14 units).
2. B-52 Bombers
Cost: $133 million (for 7 units).
3. B-2 Spirit Bombers
Cost: $42 billion (for 20 units).
4. Fourth and Fifth Generation Aircraft
Cost: $7.84 billion (for 98 units).
5. Refueling Tanker Aircraft
Cost: $5.4 billion (for 36 units).
6. Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Aircraft
Cost: $10 billion (estimate for a substantial fleet).
7. Maintenance and Operational Professionals
Cost: $19.5 million (for 500 professionals over 78 hours).
8. Submarine Operation
Cost: $5 million (rough estimate for submarine operations).
9. Tomahawk Missiles
Cost: $36 million (for 24 missiles).
10. ADM-160 Miniature Air-Launched Decoy (MALD)
Cost: $6 million (for 30 units).
11. AGM-88 High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARMs)
Cost: $30 million (for 30 units).
Enhanced Operational Cost Breakdown
In addition to the initial cost estimates, we will incorporate additional operational costs to provide a more comprehensive financial picture.
1. Pilot Costs
Pilot Salaries: the operation involved around 300 pilots, with an average annual salary of $100,000.
Cost for the Operation:
Daily cost per pilot: $100,000 / 365 = approximately $274
Total for 300 pilots for one operational day: 300x$274 = $82,200
2. Fuel Costs
Fuel Consumption Estimates
B-2 Stealth Bomber: approximately 7,000 pounds per hour.
B-52 Bomber: approximately 5,000 pounds per hour.
Fighter Jets: approximately 3,000 pounds per hour.
Total fuel required will vary based on the number of aircraft involved and their flight duration.
Cost of Aviation Fuel: Approximately $3 per gallon translates to around 6.5 pounds per gallon. Thus, a potential estimation of total fuel costs can be around $1 million for a comprehensive operation.
3. Ground Troop Readiness
Personnel Costs: For troops on alert, with 1,000 troops costing around $150 per day (salary, food, equipment).
Total Cost: 1,000 troops * $150/day = $150,000
4. Communication and Activation Costs
Command and Control Operations: The costs related to rapid communication and coordination.
Estimated costs for personnel and operations: $50,000.
5. Additional Costs
Maintenance for Aircraft Pre-Deployment: Regular maintenance checks are essential for operational readiness, averaging around $1 million.
Total Estimated Costs
Summarizing and combining all costs, my research has arrived at the following financial overview:
Initial Total: $68.834 billion (composed of the prior cost breakdown).
Pilot Costs: $82,200.
Fuel Costs: $1 million.
Ground Troop Costs: $150,000.
Communication Activation Costs: $50,000.
Aircraft Maintenance Costs: $1 million.
Total Adjusted Estimate:
Total Estimated Costs:
$68,834,000,000 (aircraft, submarine bombs, weapons and material)
$82,200 (pilot costs)
$1,000,000 (fuel costs)
$150,000 (ground troops)
$50,000 (communication)
$1,000,000 (maintenance)
Final Cost Summary
Total Adjusted Estimated Costs**: Approximately $68,836,283,200, or roughly $68.84 billion.
This thorough operation and cost assessment highlights the lowest estimated cost for the complexity and financial commitment required for Operation Midnight Hammer, ensuring all variables are accounted for while maintaining readiness and operational efficacy.
Mission Accomplished? It's a lot to pay just to soothe the ego of a psychopath so hurt by no one coming to his parade. That $68,836,283,200 would pay for a whole lotta Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Cancer Research, and so much more. Hell, we could even do a better job of filling potholes on my much traveled I-80 and build a Big Beautiful Martha Washington Bridge to go with the GWB and get people in and out of NYC a lot faster, with enough cash left over to inject Traitor Trump with Lysol and stick a light bulb or three up his ass!
