Start Spreading The News!

I guess the silver lining in the Republican Party's recent major legislative attack on the American people is that, since they built in post-midterm delays for several aspects of their attack, they are expecting that there might actually be midterm elections in 2026. They obviously put those delays in to protect themselves from a quick and well-deserved righteous electoral retribution from we the people. The bulk of the sadistic horrors will come after November 2026.
The cowardly psychopaths just don't want to answer for what they put in their Dear Leader's cornerstone nazi legislation. They are attempting to assure that they get another term so they can continue to accrue illicit wealth for themselves while deliberately hurting as many of us as they possibly can. Yes, they want us to die and die quickly, and if you're disabled and need Medicaid to pay for a wheelchair, they'll get a lot of laughs from that, too, just like they snicker about their kidnapped brown prisoners getting eaten by alligators and 20-foot pythons.
Anyway, I'm posting the above meme it now because:
1) Most of us have been confused about when all this shitload of evil kicks in and the built-in delays that are designed to minimize the impact of the GOP's war against the people and our awareness of it during the 2026 campaign season. As it is, insurance premium costs are already beginning to explode, hurting small businesses and personal healthcare plans, with much grief to come,
and,
2) We can't start spreading the news soon enough and we should be screaming it from the rooftops from right now, right this second, until election day in November of 2026.
Someone has to do the screaming because it's for sure that the bulk of the media hacks and politicos are not and will not be doing it and will continue to only gloss over the horrid details if they even bother to do that. I mean, here I am in so-called "Liberal New York" and I have the bigoted and virtually useless Kirsten Gillibrand and Whispering Chuck Schummer quietly proclaiming he might write another "strong" letter to Trump, a man who literally even read anyway. Right now, they're more concerned that New York City wants another AOC as its mayor more than they care about our lifespans and life quality. Meanwhile their own healthcare is paid for by us.
The bottom line is this: We know how bad the Democratic Party is at messaging even when they might see what the message should be, so, it's up to us. Yeah, both parties, each in their own way, want us to stay on the sidelines and be nice and quiet and polite. Fuck that shit. In lieu of parties that we have, and no viable alternatives... Self defense, that's the ticket. Be loud and be proud. There ain't no cavalry. You are the calvary.
Addendum: Getting back to my first paragraph above, there's another thing that the GOP delay the pain tactic reveals about the party. It shows that, although they pretend that their BBB will be beneficial to Americans and they say Americans will grow to love it, they know that nothing could be further from the truth. If it was a good bill, there would be no reason to hide the impacts. There have even been reports of republicans telling a few of their democratic colleagues that they know the bill is a bad bill but that is nothing more than them trying to somehow cover their asses. The proof is in the fact that they so vehemently fought for the bill and the bottom line is that they voted for it. That tells the tale. It wasn't just a heinous attack on their constituents, it was a self-serving vote. Country first? Nope, Congresscretin first. As Dylan once said, "Money doesn't talk, it swears" and they know they will be getting massive kickbacks in their own pockets, not just at campaign time, but all the time. Money for them. Horseshit for you. With a smile.
