Let's also put aside the effect of the Trump/Ryan 2017 Tax Scam on the deficit and the huge amounts of welfare largess it granted free of charge to billionaires. Instead, let's concentrate on what House Speaker Kremlin Kevin McCarthy has chosen to do with the ridiculous situation the scummiest of Washington scum have put us in; the situation depicted in the above cartoon. The corporate media is never going to put people like McCarthy in proper perspective so this is brief description of how I see it Kremlin Kevin, one of Putin's top men in Washington, has chosen the path of sadism. I know, shocker, isn't it. Pardon me for seeing and stating the obvious. Rather than just raise the debt ceiling as we always have, our Domestic Terror Party has shown us its intentions to crash the U.S. economy, and prevent worldwide economic calamity as we always have, if they can't get cuts to programs that make our lives liveable. Never mind that the debt ceiling was previously raised even while their beloved Orange Menace To Society was in the White House, McCarthy is adhering to the general Republican Party agenda of creating as much pain, mayhem, and human misery as possible. McCarthy isn't just threatening to bring down the World Trade Center by flying a couple of planes into the buildings and murdering everyone working there. Instead, he and his caucus of party fellow terrorists have their sights on hugely exponential numbers of possible victims, maybe not with spectacle in just a few minutes but exponentially larger numbers just the same. I suppose Republicans get their jollies by spreading out the misery and death over months and years rather than an instant. McCarthy is willing to wait if the suffering he can inflict will be greater. Think about all of the people who needlessly died as a result of the 1929 stock market crash. There are a lot more people in the country now and Kremlin Kevin and his comrades relish the opportunity. McCarthy's Domestic Terror Party has openly targeted... Think of it all as the Republican way to thank veterans for their service to the country by taking away their rights to a wheelchair, medical care in general, physical and mental therapy... Hell, people like McCarthy and Marjorie Traitor-Greene would find a way to repossess a vet's artificial limbs if we let them. Take away enough Social Security and Medicare to impoverish even more of our senior citizens? That's been a lifetime goal of any Republican you can come up with for decades. You can throw in honorary Republicans like Manchin and whatever Sinema is today, too. The employment gains of the last 2 years? Bye Bye! At least 8 Million jobs into the Republican dumpster fire. SNAP? Hey, yeah, kill the poor! Starve 'em to death. Black? White? Brown? Rural? Inner City? Who cares, right? It's the pain that counts! Hey Repugs, you want crime? Wait until all those people on SNAP benefits and other food assistance benefits that help feed their children, including all the chronically gullible republican masochists who so eagerly voted for the likes of you, McCarthy, Cruz, Moscow Mitch, Gym Jordan et. al. have to walk into grocery stores (any that can stay in business, that is) with guns and knives just to feed their kids and themselves. The votes aren't there; not when nearly every one of them is some kind of dirtbag that hopes for some of that billionaire welfare largess being kicked back to them as "campaign contributions." People who spend their money building Hitler Gardens and buying Supreme Court "Justices" already have way too much power, not to mention that we already have all the evidence we need that having that much money drives you insane. Just look at Elon Musk. Then imagine if Osama bin Laden had had a cool trillion in his pockets. The next guy or gal like him has already been born.
