Of Course The GOP Complains He Was Woke.

"Our hospital was extremely lucky to have his support over the years and most recently with his iconic final performance, which will leave a lasting legacy for our sick kids. Our thoughts are with Sharon and the whole Osbourne family. Our hospital has lost a friend, Birmingham a son and the world a musical legend."
- A Spokesperson for Birmingham Children's Hospital, one of the beneficiaries of the money raised by Ozzy's last concert.
While the sadistic Nazi types in our government are stealing our tax dollars that should be going for medical research, Medicare, and Medicaid, and giving it to Scumbag Billionaires as welfare handouts and socialistic subsidies, it turns out that it's our rock stars are the ones who show us what human decency is. No wonder the conservative filth element that plagues our society so often shows a hate for rock music.
Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, the band he fronted, came from Birmingham, a major city in England's midlands. They reunited one last time for their show on July 5th. They had never forgotten where they came from. I personally got to know Ozzy Osbourne a bit over the years. Was he a gonzo guy? Sure, but I also found him to be a warm, clever, very humorous man who was very appreciative of his audience, and yeah, he made quite a difference in the music world. He was always on a mission. R.I.P. Ozzy.
Here's what a spokesperson for Birmingham's Acorns Children's Hospice had to say:
"For us at Acorns, his generosity and compassion will never be forgotten. His decision to support Acorns during their unforgettable Back To The Beginning show was a moment of pure magic. It was a tribute not only to their extraordinary musical journey, but to the community that shaped them, a community we are proud to serve every day."
Ozzy's beginnings were extremely humble to say the least. As he was coming of age, he had a dream of being in The Beatles but he made it big in his own right. More importantly, he left an example of how to give back.
