Midnight Meme Of The Day! How Republican Leadership Spent The Week Of Thanksgiving

It was quite a Thanksgiving time for Trump & Co. Their displays of arrogance, malignant narcissism and repulsiveness runneth over but then, that's why their voters love them so much. Let's start with Oh Great Leader Traitor Don's response to a reporter who asked if he would be going to West Virginia to attend the funeral of Sarah Beckstrom, one of the National Guard soldiers that he needlessly placed in harm's way just to satisfy his psychosis.

"I haven't thought about it yet, but it's certainly something I can conceive of. I love West Virginia. You know, I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere. And these are great people. I love the people of West Virginia...but I haven't given it any thought."

Trump, as he always does, had to make it all about himself. Textbook narcissism. Republicans lack the empathy gene. No wonder Elon Musk and his sociopathic DOGE crew exposed and/or sold all our personal data and fired all those people who help make our lives better. No wonder Marco Rubio doesn't give a second thought to starving children to death here and around the world. Ditto every single republican in either house of Congress. RFK Jr. and his crusade to bring back measles, whooping cough and polio? Consider that explained by the same attitudes.

Sarah Beckstrom would be alive today and would have celebrated Thanksgiving with her loved ones but none of that matters to anyone who works in what's left of the White House or anywhere in Washington for that matter. Sarah Beckstrom was only 20 years old, a whole life in front of her. She'd volunteered to go to Washington with the rest of the guard from her state so others could stay home for the holiday. She thought of others; something most republicans will never do.

Then there's another typical whackjob republican, JD "Heartbeat Away" Vance. He's also just the kind that his voters love, dumb, psychotic, and a real user, not to mention the usual racist douchebaggery that always seems to go with being a republican. He went and spoke to some troops a day or so before the holiday. Instead of paying real respect to them with some seriousness, he chose to ignore that and launch into a total nutball diatribe about his thoughts on cooking and eating turkey for Thanksgiving or any time. Hell, just watch this:

What's the point? Did he think he was being funny? Does he think he can replace Stephen Colbert or, maybe Jimmy Kimmel if his boss has his way? Doesn't he know that Republicans just don't do humor. You need an active mind for that. How sad that he'll never know.

And let's not forget Pete Hegseth. He's been taking a big part in the attempt to hang Senator Mark Kelly and five other notable patriots who dared to remind our military people that they don't have to obey illegal orders from Traitor Don no matter what he or the rancid likes of those on FOX-Pedo have to say about it. He even wants Senator Kelly court martialed. All his life, while Hegseth has been hungover and barfing in the toilet every morning, Senator Kelly has been doing things risking his life as a real soldier and being a Captain of a Space Shuttle. Hegseth even criticized Senator Kelly for wearing the medals on his chest in the wrong order. It seems Hegseth was so drunk he couldn't discern that the photo of Kelly he was showing us was printed backwards or maybe just held that way. How the fuck would Hegseth know? The man hasn't been able to see straight since he was three.

And then, as you see above, there's this: Repugs, under the direction of the worst humanoid in the country, announced that they are refusing to honor World AIDS Day today or any day. Of course they aren't. Their demi-god Ronald Reagan loved ignoring the AIDS crisis just like Traitor Don tried to ignore COVID-19. They all belong to the party that dedicates itself to spreading human misery and death anyway they can. Sick bastards, indeed.
