"I do trust the president. I know his heart, head, is in the right place. I don't question that at all."

- House Speaker Mike Johnson

Obviously the absolute devil of a man who inflicted us all with the above quote earlier this week is a man of absolute filth. No one with any morals at all would say that Trump's head and heart are in the right place but always keep in mind that that is exactly why the GOP chose Mike Johnson to be House Speaker. The way his party sees it, Johnson's depravity is his top qualification. He said what he said on Tuesday, after he had already directed the defeat of votes in support of the continued suppression of the Epstein Files. His words before the lines I quote above were:

It's a very delicate subject but, we should, we should put everything out there and let the people decide.

The actual film clip of him saying those words is amazing in that you can literally see Johnson, pale and trembling, as he attempts to muster the insincerity to say them. He knows what the right thing to do is but it is literally killing him to mouth the words because they run counter to the essence of his soul, if he ever even had one. This is a total cretin, a monster from the swamps of Louisiana who has been transported into the swamp of Washington, the biggest swamp of all by people who liked him so much they voted for him. They saw enough of themselves in him to vote for him. Remind me to never visit that district. It would be like being dropped right into a scene from Night Of The Living Dead or some other locale ruled by zombie monsters.

Back on Monday, I asked a question in my Midnight Meme post. I asked what evils await us from Trumpworld this week. Well, now we know. Republicans in the so-called House of Representatives voted to not only support the further suppression of Jeffrey Epstein's client list but all talk of the whole matter and who might or might not be involved. Kinda makes you wonder how many of them are former Epstein clients. Of course, I also wonder where they go for underage girls now. I mean, I assume they don't all just do the Matt Gaetz thing and hang out at the schoolyard gate so there's gotta be a new Jeffrey Epstein out there. Nature abhors a vacuum. Christ what a bunch of pervs they all must be.

Whether or not the members of Trump's party do reluctantly succumb to the building public pressure and eventually do vote to release the Epstein Files (maybe even by the time you read this?), and, whether or not there's enough in the Epstein Files to, at least theoretically, put Trump or anyone else on trial, the horrid fact is that, by continuing to suppress the files, they have adopted the position of being at one with what they and we think the files contain and they have become at one with Jeffrey Epstein himself. They have pledged allegiance to the idea of what evils may be in the files by covering them up and sayin "Nothing to see here, folks." That goes for anyone past, present, or future. To protect such evil, you become evil if you aren't already. These protectors have chosen a side of morality and a side in the war between evil and good. They chose evil and that tells us all we need to know about them. That also goes for anyone else in the political or corporate world that has kept this all under a rock for so long. What we've seen this week is a giant acceleration of vehemence from both the side that wants to continue the coverup and the side that genuinely wants all to be revealed. Of course all the latter group is going to get will likely be as redacted with a sharpie and redacted as anything you'll ever see in your life. Hell, it may even be some fakery that Pam Bondi's little elves may be making out of thin air as you read this.
