Midnight Meme Of The Day! Epstein Files Found!

You'll Never Guess Where They Were!

Today I offer not one but two takes from a couple of first rate American editorial cartoonists on where the Republican Party was hiding The Epstein Files all this time. I bet it's not all of the files though. How could it be? Some of them are probably strewn about on the floor of Trump's Mar-a-Lago office just like all those Top Secret docs were back in 2020. Some are no doubt hidden in his various bathrooms, and some, sadly, were likely flushed down the golden toilet adjacent to the oval office. I bet Trump had JD Vance dutifully spending hours doing that but the VP should now wonder how much of this was even necessary since it has now been revealed that Trump's name was redacted along with the names of other public figures earlier this year. Remember when the order came down that the so-called Department of Justice should flag any mention of Trump's name in the files back in March? At that point 1000 or our FBI agents were assigned to the "file examination" task at taxpayer expense. We all might claim that Trump is a moron but he or someone close enough to him knew the shit could someday hit the fan and, once he got back in office and finally had a compliant AG Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel in place, he obviously figured it was time to do some clean up. Excuse me for thinking it's as if he took out his damn sharpie again. I have to also wonder what was taken out of the MLK files and the JFK files that Trump directed to be released. The bottom  line is, of course, not one single word that comes from the lips of anyone from the White House is to be believed unless you have no self-respect at all; same goes for his traitorous greek chorus in Congress.

And by the way, I think it's time that anyone who lives or works near 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is given a notification that a suspected sex offender/adjudicated rapist lives in the neighborhood.

Addendum: I have been watching the usual gang of media hacks tell us that Trump denies being asked to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell. Apparently, he thinks the people around him would ask that or even think about asking him to pardon Maxwell. That speaks volumes not just about the media hacks but also Trump and the people he surrounds himself with, aka "the best people." However, there is a better question to be asked by the media hacks and, so far, I'm not aware of anyone point blank asking him if he has directly asked his sleazeball pro-pedophile lawyer team, a team that includes one of his personally owned and operated lawyers, a team that is not so coincidentally pushing for a pardon, to help him find a way to justify a pardon. It's the obvious unspoken question. Here, talking about a pardon during a Newsmax interview, is the beloved choice of the 77,000,000 voters who support him as he speaks on the subject:

"I'm allowed to do it, but nobody's asked me to do it. I know nothing about it. I don't know anything about the case. But, I know I have the right to do it. I have the right to give pardons. I've given pardons to people before but nobody's even asked me to do it."

He knows "nothing about the case?" That's quite a Sgt. Schultz "I know nothing. I see nothing" moment but he is clearly looking for a way to use his leverage over Maxwell to have her play ball so he can get enough to go to the courts and get his justification for a pardon and tell us he had no choice, that he's only following the courts, blah, blah, blah. And we already know how supportive of Dear Leader Trump John Roberts and his crew are. We are seeing the worst that the American system of justice has to offer but the voters have spoken.
