Sound Familiar?

While Nazi filth like Kristi Noem, Ron DeSantis and Traitor Don can treat their newly built Alligator Alcatraz as a great source for laughter, jokes about snakes, gators and hurricane flooding, let's not forget that the Republicans fave product is human misery for the masses. With Alligator Alcatraz, they're even selling a whole new line of GOP T-shirts and other merchandise that appears to be very popular with Trump voters, but let us never forget that the words they use to describe their sadistic prison and torture facility are the same words that their beloved Nazi Germany used to describe what became the Dachau Death Camp when it, too, was originally described as an "Immigrant Internment Camp" to be used for "processing" people slated for deportation. Everything old is new again. No wonder history's sordid details are no longer taught in American schools. No wonder Republicans hate education and see it as something to be removed from our lives. They "love the poorly educated." as Traitor Don says, and they say it with a purpose, an extremely evil purpose.
So, yeah, I can see Stephem Miller, a man so spiritually evil that he's physically misshapen, salivating over the thought of an eagerly awaited photo like the one described in tonight's meme. I can see everyone in the Trump White House also eagerly anticipating the same thing. You can bet they even have an office pool where they all guess the wonderful day that photo arrives. Extra credit for the hour and minute. Every congressional Republican probably wants in on the pool, too. Why wouldn't they? They've made such a big beautiful point of making sure we know how sick and twisted they are.
As sent to the House by the Senate on the evening of July 1st, Trump's Big Nazi Bill which the GOPers are all cheering to the heavens includes a tripling of the ICE budget to $29.9 Billion for deportation operations though 9/30/29 and with an additional $45 Billion (up from $8 Billion according to ICE's own website) for building new "detention centers," including family detention facilities. That's about $75 Billion total just for those categories. The $45 Billion alone is a 265% annual budget increase to ICE's current detention budget. It's also a 62% larger budget than the entire federal prison system. And, that's just on top of whatever the annual ICE budgets will be in the coming years! That's gonna create quite a slush fund to be used for who knows what. A tidy bit of campaign cash for each Republican congresscritter? A few extra billion for The Diaper Don's untraceable crypto schemes? An investment return for the party's Scumbag Billionaire donors? All of the above?
And one last thing for today: The land that today's Nazis have built their Florida concentration camp on was once proposed for an international airport. That never happened because, believe it or not, there were just enough people in Florida with brains back in those days. The way I remember it from when I had relatives living there, they didn't want to build an airport on land that was so vulnerable to flooding. Fast forward to now and it was just a day after the GOP ribbon cutting photo op that just a small storm covered their shiney new facility with a couple of inches of water. I'm sure that brings a smile to republicans everywhere when they think of the camp's electric wires and cables being waterlogged enough to electrocute some of their kidnapped captives. Yeah, "Put 'em in metal cages and throw them a few live wires. Can we get some film of that for the donors?" Now think of what happens when a category 5 hurricane hits, not to mention even a category one. Some of the regrets Trump and his voters will have when, not if, that happens will no doubt be as follows:
1. The administration won't be able to sell the inmates to foreign dictators for slave work for unregulated crypto or anything else.
2. They won't be able to use their prisoners for "medical experimentation."
3. They won't be able to tie their prisoners up, fly them out over the Atlantic, and dump them in the ocean while they're still alive.
Oh and, to Florida's Native Americans, the land where the Repugs have built their pride and joy "detention center" is sacred land. I'm sure Stephen Miller and the rest of Trump's Nazis would be very happy to house them there.
