Cartoonist Jack Ohlman has crammed a lot of stuff into the above cartoon but apparently, some of our judges, including the one who is mentioned, have been cramming a lot of graft into their pockets for a very long time. Shocking, I know. Still, it's always good to get some gory details on our miscreants in robes. I especially like Ohlman's inclusion of the Night Deposit slot for unreported gift storage.
Here's a fun fact for today: Did you know that so-called Judge Clarence Thomas once said the following about his job?
"The job is not worth doing for what they pay. The job is not worth doing for the grief."
Well, alrighty, then! I guess we can see a possible motive for Thomas's actions now. Oh, and he was quoted as saying that doing the job was worth the principle, but forgive me if I just happen to think he was saying principal and the reporter just got it a tad wrong. And, note to Clarabell, er, a Clarence your paltry pay that you whine about is officially $285,000 a year! To do what? Make as many Americans as miserable as you and your party would like? That's about $111,000 more in official salary (corporate bribes not included, just official salary) that our $enators of both parties take in to, in most cases, do the same kind of job. Not only that but your traitorous wife (also depicted in the cartoon) is taking in a reported $600,000 a year, emphasis "reported," as some sort of GOP-Nazi strategist-influencer-plotter-Qanon Nut Queen, etc. In short, you're rich. Your kind of money will feed your often talked about legendary porn collection quite nicely so stop bitching or take it up with your pal Long Dong Silver.
Oh, and "Judge" Thomas, ya know, sometimes we make our own grief.
