The over the top narcissism of this fake tweet matches Trump perfectly. Once the previous Pope passed away, Dementia Don made the decision to send out pictures of himself dolled up as a Pope but, even in his most rancid delusions, he probably (only probably) knew that he was never going to be elected Pope. Even Musk and Putin couldn't make that one happen. Still, it's totally in Trump's nature to think the idea of there ever being an American Pope was his and only his, that he'd had the idea longer than anyone else, and that he eventually was the one who made it happen. That's what makes this fake tweet oh so believable. You'd expect it of such a deranged man. It's also an example of just how the minds of the narcissists and psychopaths among us work or, should I say, don't work.

The irony of this tweet is that, although Trump could have sent it out the day the election of Pope Leo XIV was announced, there's no way he would take credit for Pope Leo now that his flock of 77,000,000 psychopaths and sociopaths have gone all apoplectic over the new Pope being a "woke person" or, in other words, a person who cares about making the world a kinder and safer place for his fellow humans. In other words, a person who might at least make the effort to make the world a little better and safer than it is now. Popes are never everything we hope for in regards to those things. Pope Leo has a way to go when it comes to being completely inclusive, but considering the conservative context of the organization Pope Leo is working in, even the little amount of so-called wokeness he has exhibited in his career as a priest and cardinal is way, way too much for your typical Republikook. In fact, it appears that Republicans are so upset about "the wokeness of the new Pope" and going on and on about it that you'd think they'd witnessed one of the worst things any Republican could ever imagine, ie. someone giving food or healthcare to a sick and starving child. Their negative reaction to the presence of the new Pope is a major tell about where the Republican mind resides.
