by Noah It's great that the election deniers who ran for Governor and Secretary of State positions all across the country lost last week. But, most of them just barely lost and that should be taken as a serious threat to the nation's future. Their loss could make a positive difference in 2024 but the Nazi-loving voters who cast their vote for them are still out there in huge numbers and they won't just magically disappear. If you count up the total votes for all the candidates who won and all of those who lost, that's a figure in the tens of millions. Now, we have to or should address the fact that a rough average of 48%+ of all of the votes were cast by people who are perfectly fine with Nazis. That's still tens of millions of voters who are a clear and present danger to the United States Of America. Is there a civil war going on? You bet there is and we, the people, the politicians, the media hacks, all of us are being unbelievably stupid in ignoring the danger that the election results are hiding just below the surface. This is what our country's enemies mean when they claim they will conquer us without firing a shot. Remember all those traitors in the House of Representatives and their fellow traitors in the $enate who came out as election deniers, encouraged the murderous mayhem of J-6, and voted to decertify Joe Biden's election to the presidency? 130 election deniers won election or reelection last week and that's just the House. I'm not including the $enate or the various state legislatures. Sure, there was no Red Wave but any celebration should be minimal when roughly 30 percent of the members of the House are openly traitors. Not only that, but, come January, the powers that be will swear them in as though there's "Nothing to see here" and the public will just go about getting ready for the NFL playoff season by buying spiffy new flavors of barbecue chips. Overall, what's left of our eroding democracy won by only the width of a hair and things aren't much better in the $enate. After all, nazi goons like "Ted" Cruz, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson, and Lindsey Graham are still very much there and they have comrades Mike Lee, Tom Cotton, et al. who by rights should be on trial for treason, then convicted and sentenced to the max. There were something like 147 traitors total on J-6 when you factor in both houses of Congress. Not one has been even expelled!!! Lots of people are offering explanations as to why the so-called Red Wave, Red Tsunami, Putin's Promise, Red Tornado, Throbbing Red Volcano Of Lunacy or whatever, which promised so much to the Nazi-inclined but turned flacid when push came to shove, never came. But, it's always going to be important to take note of the fact that that, although the democrats have retained control of the $enate (at least for now), and the House is about as close to tied as can be, last week's midterm election was a disturbingly close election because of all those millions of republicans out there who gladly voted for Nazi nutjobs all up and down the ballot and would happily put on the swastika armband at a moments notice if their fellow traitors won. So, what was it that temporarily won the day last week? Revulsion felt by enough independents over the GOP's joyous reaction to Speaker Pelosi's husband being attacked with a hammer? We certainly heard a lot about republicans everywhere telling jokes about it. Was it Flor-i-duh goon Rick Scott's out loud arrogance about how his party was going to end Social Security and Medicare once and for all? That was definitely a most played clip during the campaign but it should have been running as a chiron across the middle of every TV screen in America 24 hours a day. How about the incessant totally un-American race-based voter suppression moves which are the GOP's white supremacist trademark, all supported by the Supreme Court's Grand Wizard John Roberts? Could it have been the whispers of calling for a 20 year ban on migration from just about any place but Norway until a large white majority is firmly reestablished? The non-stop hate republican leadership and media goons direct towards the LGBTQ community? Then there's the bizarro world conspiracy mongering including the absolute insanity about students demanding cat litter boxes in school bathrooms for themselves because they supposedly identify as cats and kittens? Yep, each republican conspiracy gets more insane than the last, but, consider the source. Maybe it was the Republican Party's increasingly open proclamations of their endemic anti-Semitism? Gun love? Nightmares about brown people moving into the house across the street? The near enshrinement of J-6 as a national Republican holiday? The party's call to defund the FBI? Oh yeah, and that Dobbs decision! How about that Supreme Court! Give up for the Supreme Court, ladies and gents! How ironic that Moscow Mitch worked so hard, hand in hand with his Orange Menace To Society buddy, to stuff the Roberts Court with black robed anti-choice plague fleas in order to finally take away a woman's rights and the end result is that Moscow puppet boy may never again get to be majority leader. Don't worry Mitchy! You can always have your dream job as a Putin Super Bag Man. K Street awaits. The answer is all of the above and more. But, don't get too comfortable. It can all change in a second because millions of Nazis, their enablers, and their sympathizers walk among us. It's all just under the surface. It;s not even in shadow. You'll see plenty of them in the next 2 years and beyond. The vote counts do not lie. Half of our neighbors, give or take just one percentage point want a Nazi Big Daddy to tell us all what to do and when to do it and they will flock to whichever candidate rises.
