Trump Lacks The Self-Control And Good Judgement To Make The Jeffrey Epstein Sex Scandal Dissapear

It Will Be Hilarious If Republicans Are Forced To Vote On It!

How do we know Trump has failed to make the Epstein scandal go away— not counting that MAGAts are burning their MAGA hats? At MAGA Mike’s direction, the Rules Committee advanced a rule to allow a vote on a non-binding resolution (i.e.-utter bullshit) to ask the DOJ to release “all credible” information related to the scandal that isn’t “unauthenticated,” although MAGA Mike and Scalese then both said— pr4esumably on orders from the White House— that they’re not sure if they’ll bring it up on the floor after all.
That might be because, there’s one— by Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna— that is binding and that is headed towards the floor despite MAGA Mike, Scalese and Señor TACO. That would be “the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA), which would force the House of Representatives to vote on the complete release of the government's files related to Jeffrey Epstein. If EFTA is not considered by the House within seven legislative days, a discharge petition will be circulated” to bypass House leadership (in this case, Trump).
Aside from Massie and Khanna, there are now 9 Republican co-sponsors and 4 Democrats who have signed on. The Democrats are Rashida (MI), AOC (NY), Jim McGovern (MA) and Hank Johnson (GA). The Republican co-sponsors daring to defy Trump are:
Marjorie Traitor Greene (GA)
Tim Burchett (TN)
Eric Burlison (MO)
Lauren Boebert (CO)
Jeff Van Drew (NJ)
Eli Crane (AZ)
Cory Mills (FL)
Tom Barrett (MI)
Max Miller (OH)
Nancy Mace (SC)
Miller and Mace put themselves forward as co-sponsors on Thursday. McGovern is the ranking Democrat on the House Rules Committee and his cosponsorship hints that the Democratic caucus will vote in favor of the discharge petition. With the 9 Republicans now co-sponsoring that would be more than the 218 signatures needed to force a floor vote.

Problem: other than Massie himself, none of those Republicans are likely to stand up to Trump if he barks at them. They all have long histories of running their mouths, getting a bunch of publicity, and then backing down when it gets too hot for them, none more than Nancy Mace.
Meanwhile Trump, still obsessing over the scandal, claims he’s suing Rupert Murdoch over the scalding report in “his ‘pile of garbage’ newspaper the Wall Street Journal.” It's almost like Trump will do anything and everything it takes to keep the scandal foremost in everyone's minds. Has anyone wondered what will happen if there IS a smoking gun that proves Trump was molesting underaged girls? Will the Supreme Court dare declare it doesn't matter?
