Republicans Are Having Trouble Getting Along With Each Other... QAnon Marge To The Rescue

The war between Marjorie Traitor Greene and her erstwhile friends on the far right fringe, ramped up yesterday when she started ranting and raving on Twitter with an endless thread on behalf of her new BBF, OK Kevin. One can only imagine what he's offering her! Here it is in paragraph form:

Being a conservative and antiestablishment, I used to criticize Kevin McCarthy a lot.
In fact, I’ve criticized many people and still do because I’m so incredibly frustrated with what a failure our government is to our people.
I firmly believe it’s our job to fix it, but we, Republicans will never fix anything when we say Never someone just because we don’t like them.
To the Democrat’s credit, they don’t do that. And I’ve watched them pass incredibly horrible things the past two years, and the country is suffering and will suffer worse because of their amazing ability to work together in-spite of their differences.
Not us, we’re the Party of Never and it’s ruining everything.
It’s also lying to the base about a “plan” that doesn’t exist, no candidate, & no way of working that I refuse to be part of and silent about.
I’m disappointed my friends would mislead the base and that’s a big reason why I’m speaking out.
The Speaker is elected inside our conference that unfortunately for us conservatives is filled with too many moderates and it’s IMPOSSIBLE for a conservative to get 218 votes.
My friends know this and risking the gavel & delaying everything just bc they don’t like someone is not only selfish, it’s incredibly reckless and dangerous.
Just like the Never Trumpers were Never Trump just bc they didn’t like him, & that bad attitude cost our country so much.
Never Trumper’s bad attitudes produced Republican refusal to work together and accomplish the MAGA agenda that Americans rallied around and voted for in record numbers.
And it cut a deep divide in our party that is ever expanding, sadly.
Now we have a new Never movement growing, the Never Kevin movement.
Just like Never Trump, the Never Kevin’s are Never Kevin because they just don’t like him.
It’s not about his policy goals, his public promises as Speaker, or any credible reason at all.
It’s just Never.
For me, I don’t support someone based on their personality, whether they’re popular or not, or other shallow meaningless reasons.
We aren’t electing a prom king, pope, or fraternity president.
But the Never crowd treats it this way & they’re killing our ability to be effective.
I put my own feelings aside and I support someone based on their ability to get the job done that I believe is important for the country and the American people.
President Trump’s MAGA agenda was something every single Republican should have worked together as hard as possible to accomplish, but the Never Trumpers turned their backs and refused to work to pass the policies the people supported.
Now it’s happening again.
Earlier this year, I decided to start talking with Kevin McCarthy weekly to get to know him outside of what everyone said.
Over time, I learned many of his goals are actually aligned with mine and the conservative base.
I also learned Kevin McCarthy, like many R’s, shifted to the right bc of many of the events over the past two years and because of the dangerous extreme nature of the Democrats.
The most underestimated things about Kevin McCarthy is how he thinks & feels after being wrongfully politically targeted by the J6 committee just like Trump and all of us, after being wrongfully politically rejected by Corporate donors for objecting on J6, and his stance towards the Chamber of Commerce for their wokeness and treatment towards Conservative values.
Conservatives would be surprised if they knew these things.
Unfortunately, my friends in the Never Kevin Caucus don’t know either bc they chose Never and never tried talking with him.
The most important thing to pay attention to are McCarthy’s public promises & goals.
It’s the public statements that stick because he has to be held accountable to that list.
Kevin won’t say anything publicly if he can’t or won’t try.
That’s career suicide & he’s not stupid.
Here are some of Kevin McCarthy’s publicly stated promises and goals that he wants to accomplish as Speaker of the House.
There is no one else running for Speaker. And no one in our conference could get 218 that would do these things.
The border and impeaching Mayorkas.

Twitter Files and federal government agencies colluding with big tech is one of McCarthy’s top agenda items. And conservatives would be pleased to know he talks to Elon.

Holding China accountable and protecting America in every way from Chinese fentanyl killing Americans, China buying our farmland, supply chain, to the dangers of the CCP.
Having a Republican House Speaker on these issues are incredibly important to conservatives.

Conservatives don’t know that Kevin McCarthy has pledged to “Audit of defense spending and foreign aid; including but not limited to Ukraine aid” and hold military accountable for woke priorities destroying our military, and more.

Investigating everyone and everything involved in Covid origins.
That means you, Fauci..

Pay close attention here to Kevin McCarthy’s plan in regards to Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell.
McCarthy knows it goes straight to the top and we intend to prove it.
He said he won’t impeach for political reasons but will when we have proof.
You all know how I feel.

One of the biggest issues, I hear Kevin McCarthy talk about frequently is the out of control spending in Washington.
This is a top priority to me and conservatives across America.

What you read here is extremely serious about the DOJ and FBI.
These investigations open doors potentially to more.

“..the classroom has become a battlefield where competing political ideologies, gender theories, and junk science wage war against the well-being of children..the Biden admin promoted harmful policies pushed by the far-left teachers unions ..that poison the minds of children..”

What conservative parent doesn’t agree?
And calling for a Church Style Investigation into the FBI and CIA abuses is huge for conservatives.
There is no other possibility that could realistically be Speaker that would have the courage to do this.

It’s time for my friends in the Never Kevin Caucus to stop lying to the base just bc they don’t like Kevin McCarthy.
They do not have a plan and there is no consensus candidate.
Sabotaging the country for personal reasons is not brave or righteous, it’s selfish and foolish.

Notice that Traitor Greene refers to her fringe as “conservatives” and the actual conservatives as “moderates.” With the exception of Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) and Chris Smith (R-NJ), the only actual moderates— John Katko (R-NY) and Fred Upton (R-MI)— are retiring rather than deal with the kind of fascism that has taken hold in the GOP— and passes itself off as “conservatism.” Yesterday, Politico reported that “A group of 13 House Republicans released a letter to their Senate GOP counterparts vowing to oppose any legislation next Congress pushed by Republicans who ultimately support the massive government spending package this week.” The Republicans who signed on are the fascist usual suspects: Matt Rosendale (MT), Matt Gaetz (FL), Ralph Norman (SC), Bob Good (VA), Scott Perry (PA), Dan Bishop (NC), Paul Gosar (AZ), Byron Donalds (FL), Chip Roy (TX), Anna Paulina Luna (FL), Eli Crane (AZ), Andrew Clyde (GA) and Andy Ogles (TN).

"We are obliged to inform you that if any omnibus passes in the remaining days of this Congress, we will oppose and whip opposition to any legislative priority of those senators who vote for this bill— including the Republican leader."

Anthony Adragna wrote that “The lawmakers said they would oppose ‘any rule, any consent request, suspension voice vote, or roll call vote of any such Senate bill, and will otherwise do everything in our power to thwart even the smallest legislative and policy efforts of these senators.’ With the Senate run by Democrats, it's unlikely much marquee GOP senator-led legislation would make it to the House next year anyways, but this means that even bills renaming post offices or similar small-ball efforts could be derailed… [I]t is clear from warnings like this that this bloc of House Republicans is prepared to use its collective weight in the narrow 222-seat majority to also push back against GOP votes on policies in the Senate.”

No worries; guess who says he agrees with this hardline approach. Yes, OK Kevin! The GOP Leader tweeted: "Agreed. Except no need to whip— when I'm Speaker, their bills will be dead on arrival in the House if this nearly $2T monstrosity is allowed to move forward over our objections and the will of the American people."

Several Senate Republicans have already responded to the letter. John Cornyn (R-TX) said the attitude “doesn’t sound like a recipe for working together in the best interest of the country, so I think this is just words spoken during the heat of passion. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail.” Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) called it “an idle threat. I think respect for people’s votes is what [these] whole institutions are built on, and that we all have different reasons for making different votes, whether it’s who we represent, what lens we’re looking through. I think they need to settle their Speakership quickly, and I hope Kevin’s the Speaker.”

Kevin Cramer (R-ND), a former member of the House himself— and a NO vote on the omnibus bill— said that extremists are backing McCarthy into a “horrible spot… If you just think about what they’re suggesting, it flies in the face of maturity and the ability to lead. The reality is this kind of chest thumping and immaturity doesn’t instill confidence in their ability to lead. Now, maybe it helps Kevin get elected Speaker— I hope it does. I hope he becomes Speaker. I want him to become Speaker, but it’s not a good start to leading.”

"Kevin basically is whatever you want him to be. He lies. He’ll change the lie if necessary. How can anyone trust his word?"- Bill Thomas, the former congressman who knows McCarthy best
