Republicans have been all about wanting to redo elections and recount votes over and over again in recent years. Add in the fact that politics is too often about pulling the football away at the last split second and failing to ease pain or solve a problem and you have a perfect storm. For too many, that was their goal all along. The money and the power speak the loudest.
No matter how it ends up for Kremlin Kev, this week has been one of the clearest examples of this in years: For Kremlin Kev, there is no amount of humiliation he will not tolerate (or enjoy) to get his money and his power. That alone shows us how much corruption is on offer in Washington, DC.
