I think I must have seen every episode of the first fifteen years of The Simpsons. The snarky subversiveness of the dialog and the endless sight gags appealed to me and it became a Sunday evening staple. To me The Simpsons is the real reality TV.
Shown above, today's cartoon figures, based on real Simpsons characters, reflect the abject idiocy of Republicans everywhere. In fact, experience tells me I should strongly suspect there probably isn't a Republican anywhere that gets the show or the real world it depicts at all. I do remember one specifically telling me that "that show just isn't funny." Yeah, well, I guess they just can't handle the truth. I wish the depicted figures were available as refrigerator magnets and stickers. They'd make nicely irritating gifts.
