There he is, ol' Kremlin Kev, just furniture. I can see that pose being replicated in some future depiction of Republicans in a wax museum just as I can see that today's cartoon closely resembles McCarthy's post J-6 apology tour down to Mar-a-Lago. How pathetic was that? How pathetic is it that a whole party enjoys being urinated on by an obese orange freak with clown hair. How pathetic is it that the rest of us put up with it?

crapper. You are right to say that pathetic is a good word but ominous is not a better choice and here's why- Noah is using the more biting and sharper 'pathetic' in a poetic triptych device at a precise cadence to create a defining feeling of something ominous. In short, he is using a classic device of the poetry-prose style to "kill two birds with one stone" or use one to create the other. He doesn't even have to say the word and that is more powerful. It's a style he regularly uses. If he had done it your way, that would be comparatively flat. He can write circles around both of us.

I understand what you're saying. But you must know your audience.

I don't believe "pathetic" (thrice) is either enough or even well understood as your poetic device. I doubt more than 1 in 100k americans are even capable of understanding it as such.

"Pathetic" projects a static feeling of disgust. "Ominous" or something better should project the danger and fear of a (much) worser future unless something reverses every political impetus since LBJ. IMO, the latter is more useful... well, hopefully.

CLEARLY, given the relentless nature of the shithole and this page (as a democrap party shill), nothing this guy writes is doing much good. But then, it isn't supposed to be convincing the audience to wake the fuck u…

pathetic is a good word. but ominous is better. this shit isn't getting better. it's getting worser. nobody and nothing is even trying to reverse this shit. how much worser will 'we the people' insist on? total destruction. the only possible answer.

and when total destruction happens? 150 million purported human beings will be flummoxed... if they even give a zeptofuck. won't know wtf happened.
