Right now would be a great time for the American political system to introduce the concept of a "No Confidence" vote and call for new elections. Not going to happen but it would be a great time. So many more civilized countries have the "No Confidence" solution to a dangerous administration and few have ever had a situation more dangerous than us. Sadly, the Founding Fathers were, even after dealing with the insane and evil machinations of the inbred Mad King George, too naive to think that this country would ever choose a mental case like Donald J. Trump to lead us. Personally, I have always gone by the golden rule of "Expect The Worst From People And Be Pleasantly Surprised When Someone Good Comes Along." Alas, the Founding Fathers came up with their impeachment idea but they also never expected the Senate to be run by a Putin-owned and operated traitor like Moscow Mitch McConnell doing everything in his power to have his beloved Trumpieboy in power. 

I guess the Founding Fathers also thought that enough Senators would be patriotic enough to go to the nation's leaders and tell them when their time was up. That worked with Richard Nixon when there were actually just enough real patriots in his own party to go to him and say, "That's it, ya gotta quit. You're done here. Toast. Buh-Bye!" Nixon knew when he'd lost too much of the country to govern anymore.  That kind of thing doesn't enter into Trump's decision making process. Nixon was crazy but not as crazy as Trump. He was a crook, too. Still, he did leave. The mistake was that he wasn't tried, convicted and executed for his various treasons, treasons which I've written about for decades now. Trump took Nixon's hall pass as permission and here we are.

No one in Washington is going to do what's right for this country and for us. You can probably count the number of those who even want to on one hand. Washington is owned and operated by Korporate slime and bank slime. They have had endless opportunities to rid us of Trump and he is still destroying us all while they stuff their pockets with fresh korporate kash. As recently as this very week, Congress could have called a special joint session, drawn up the necessary papers of impeachment, voted to remove Trump and his administration of utter crackpots, Russian assets and other traitors and sent them somewhere to await some Nuremberg style trials.

Washington has done nothing, zip, nada. It is like I always say; Washington always takes care of its own. So, it's up to us to treat the No Kings protests of last Saturday as just a bare bones beginning. A monthly or bi-monthly No Kings Day that grows in numbers of participants is called for. Minimal. How many members of Congress are there? How many in the Trump administration? Add in their various staffs and families and it's still a puny number compared to the numbers we can put in the streets. France did it. By some counts now, the count of last week's participants ended up at nearly 13,000,000. That's not enough. I've often called for National Strikes. Now would be a great time for that, too. Too many Americans have grown to take self government for granted for way, way too long, but if you don't get out and fight for the government you want, a very different one will continue to be rammed down your throat and that's what's been going on, step by evil subversive step, since the day Nixon took over his party. The longer this situation goes on the uglier this situation will get and you can say the same thing about its eventual far less civilized end. Had enough?
