Speaker Johnson was right there on 1/6; an integral part of the planning for Traitor Don's violent and murderous coup attempt and he got rewarded for it with the Speaker's gavel. That's how Washington works. Even though the coup failed, good ol' violent killer Christian fanboy Mike Johnson got his gavel. That's how sick Washington is. It's telling that, no matter what else is happening, Speaker Johnson is still loyal to the fellow traitor(s) who got him his job. Even when he's gotten the best deal on immigration his party of bigots might ever get, his crew of made men and made women refuse to pass it. That, of course, proves they don't really want a solution at all, especially if it solves a series of problems they want to run on. That's how sick Washington is, too. Yep, they'd hate to give President Biden a win, even a partial one, but, more importantly if you're a Republican, you never want to pass up an opportunity to maximize death and human misery. Oh, that's right, Republicans don't exactly consider brown people to be human. I musta forgot for a split second. Johnson says, "The Devil is in the details." And, so it is. It's their religion.
