Elon "Mr. Apartheid" Musk has stated that he wants to colonize Mars and eventually humankind will do so if our species lasts long enough. The thing is of course, that Musk has given every indication that, like Trump, his idea of colonization only includes white folks. I think if a shrink launched a probe into Elon's rancid mind, they would find that his desire to go to Mars is some sort of way to make up for his dream of an all white South Africa not coming to pass.

Still, Musk has also said that he wants to die on Mars and that could be arranged to happen a lot faster. We could already pack him into a big metal ball with enough air and food and send him on his way. Maybe we could even outfit one of his repulsive cybertrucks for the job. One giant mission for all humankind and all that.
