Answer: Many Decades Ago

Your Saturday Cartoon

It's easy to say that the most dangerous crowds for Trump are the ones he sees Kamala Harris and Tim Walz getting. The most dangerous ones for us normally appear to be the ones that are his mob of fans, ie. millions of hate-filled racists, misogynists, and homophobes, etc., not to mention over five dozen crackpot Nazi billionaires (names available at the link). But, you could also say that it is those Harris/Walz crowds that also pose a danger for us for the simple reason that there's no telling what unspeakable acts their existence could drive Trump and his supporters to. Who knows, just as who knows what horrific things he's already done with various Top Secret documents. Donald Trump is stone nuts. Do you think his fascination with people like Kim Jong-un and Hannibal Lecter, monsters both real and fictional, shouldn't tell us something? We already know that we can lay the deaths of over 400,000 Americans, many of whom supported him, at his feet due to his placing his own psychopathic ego above the rest of us when it came to managing the COVID-19 crisis. Donald J. Trump should have been locked up and permanently institutionalized as early as 70 years ago. It's a major failure of our society and our thought processes that he wasn't and the chickens not only came home to roost, they multiplied and have been shitting all over us for years. We have a Congress and a corporate world full of them.

What a fragile psyche Donnie Diapers must have! All this virulent obsession with applause, ratings numbers, and crowd size. You have to be seriously unhinged if you're geared towards letting such things as crowd size distract you from the more important things. It doesn't make for a good president, not even an acceptable president. Party affiliation has nothing to do with it. It's all about being focused, disciplined, and mentally and emotionally stable enough to not go over the edge and blow up the economy or even the world itself. I get that Trump has a horrifically full blown case of narcissistic personality disorder. A certain amount of narcissism or ego imbalance goes with the territory of becoming a politician, any politician, just as it does with an actor or singer, but there's a lot more power and chance of being a mass-murderer in the hands of politicians and the people they put in place. Wanting to run a country is the ultimate in seeking "likes" or applause but Trump is historically way off the scale, so much so that, sooner or later, there will be people writing their doctoral thesis about Donald J. Trump and there will, no doubt, be a medical term for Trump's mental illness or illnesses.

By the way, never forget Trump's worst political enablers, people like Lindsey Graham and Moscow Mitch McConnell, but also, never forget his media promoters like Sean Hannity and, certainly not least of all, British TV producer Mark Burnett who co-invented The Apprentice TV show with New York con artist Trump, thus giving Trump years of platforming, promotion and name identification which led to him becoming President of the United States. The show was brought to NBC by its Entertainment President Jeff Zucker, a man who, at the least, should never be allowed to live down his place in history.

Another "Hey, look at me" cry for attention from the Gurestcrapper troll below. Giestcrapper, Noah addresses your whiney bitch point in most of the first paragraph. Try actually reading the posts before you comment.

Still failing to place the blame where it really belongs. Americans consumed that trump game show lustily. He was just as despicable, though not yet as diminished. If viewers hadn't watched, it would have been cancelled and sent an important message.

The ghastly state of this shithole and the fact that trump is not now in prison for any of a whole cornucopia of crimes over the past 60+ years isn't HIS fault. It's ours.

Yet so many millions of Americans think he’s god. Our public educational system needs to be completely redone. And get religion the hell out of it. Howard Zinn’s history of America should be taught in high school so we face up to what we’ve done in the past and thus can do much better in the furure.

Realistically, it wouldn't help. We couldn't even remember what we learned from the great depression and "New Deal". We've elected parties on cutting taxes and xxFTAs and deregs for well over 40 years now. In 2008 we elected parties that did the opposite of what FDR did in 1933.
