Personally, I feel that society is more lacking in compassion and kindness. But, ever so clearly, intellect has been on the skids for several decades.

Since WWII, lower potential americans have been out-breeding higher achievers by 2 - 1 or a bit more. using math (yes, I know), you would see that the overpopulation of genetic lowers is greater by a factor of at least 8 (redundance meant for emphasis). might have something to do with it.

a) sourced from a very old (from the '60s) study by a forgotten professor who was summarily fired for the study. He was interviewed on PBS or NPR, I cannot remember. And I was able only to read a short, dismissive summary in a magazine that I saw on a newsstand. Apparently nobody wanted to be told that america was being dumbed down by genetics.

His criteria for "potential" was educational achievement or lack thereof (I do not know if he attempted to take into account high IQs among the poor who would not have access to higher ed; or genetic morons like trump, kushner and w who could buy their college degrees). As far as …
