I wish George Orwell was alive and still writing today but he did know what today would be like because he knew what evil lurks in the sadistic powermad souls and minds of conservatives who choose the political lifestyle. We've seen an avalanche of that this week. Still, I'd like to see Orwell on the cable news channels once or twice a week. He'd cut right to the chase. He'd nail it like today's cartoons that reference Traitor Don's Iran bombing statements. Would the general public understand what he was saying? Probably not, at least 90% of them probably would not, simply because most people refuse to believe the truth about the sickness of human nature. They'd rather go around believing that no one could ever be as evil as, say, the Congressional Psychopaths who voted "so strongly and powerfully" for causing as much human misery and death as they ever have before when they voted for their Dearly Beloved Leader's "Big Beautiful Bill" this week. That's rich. No, really, that's rich. And totally homicidal, too. But what else would anyone with even half a brain expect from people who just tell us "We're all going to die" and "They'll get over it."
