Midnight Meme Of The Day!

by Noah

"I guess I was raised differently. To have a statewide elected official, regardless of party, tap without disclosing a conversation, private conversation, with the president of the United States, and then leaking it to the press is disgusting."

-Georgia Republican $enator David Perdue The longer the Trump era goes on, the worse it gets. And to think, Ivanka and Jared have just purchased a Flor-i-duh mansion for $36,000,000. Why? She wants to run for Governor or Senator. Sooo entitled. Well, she has a very suspect business history as does her slimy Ken doll husband and that seems to be one major qualification for high level Flor-i-duh political office so there's that. My point is that this does not end with Donald Trump leaving the White House and, in a best world scenario, spending the rest of his days in GITMO or, even better, something far, far worse in a way out of the way jungle infested with fire ants. Trump has offspring, fetid, scumbag offspring, who plan to "continue the work" of the Trump Crime Family as if they were some kind of boys from Brazil. The Trump gene pool problem needs to be addressed. Note the David Perdue quote above. He claims to be "disgusted" that the conversation was recorded and "disgusted" that it was released. It's not the first time we've heard Trump's criminal insanity but that someone would display acts of criminality by the Republican Party's Dear Leader for all to hear so graphically offends the whiney putrid Perdue. Perdue seems to think and would have us believe that the fact that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger recorded the tape and released it is the problem, not what his Dear Leader did and said on the call. What Raffensperger did is perfectly legal under Georgia law. Raffensperger is no saint. Just take a look at his voter suppression efforts but this particular Raffensperger action was a rare act of patriotism and morality. Perdue's quote is a perfect representation of how the Republican mind views Trump's phone call with Secretary Reffensperger. In the continuing case of Donald J. Trump vs. The United States of America, the Republican Party and its voters have circled the wagons around him. It is, after all, their way. That doesn't mean that Trump shouldn't have been removed kicking and screaming by 9:00pm yesterday. It means that there are too many David Perdues in Washington and as I always say, Washington takes care of its own. It's our failure, too, to not put our politicians of any stripe on a skewer and hold their feet to the fire like the soft gooey marshmallows that they are. As I said yesterday, what should happen won't happen. Sigh, those in Washington rarely find the morality and courage to do the right thing. Obey an oath to the Constitution? Surely you jest!
