Vance Raised the River While Trump Raised Grocery Prices

JD Vance had the water level of a river raised so he and his family could go boating for his birthday. The Vice President of the United States used federal resources to change the flow of a public waterway— for a party.

This is the same guy who built his whole persona around growing up poor and understanding the working class. Then the second he got power, he did what every fraud does: tried to make the world bend around him.

And if it stopped at the river, maybe we could write it off as a one-time thing. But it doesn’t.

Since January, he’s taken at least seven trips that look a lot more like luxury vacations than anything resembling work: skiing in Vermont, Disneyland with the family, a birthday kayaking trip in Ohio. He’s gearing up for a summer getaway to the UK— London, the Cotswolds, Scotland. And he’s already hit Greenland, India, Italy, and the Vatican. Some of those had “official” stamped on the itinerary, but the reality looked like black-car convoys, private museum tours, and the public picking up the tab.

When he travels abroad, regular people get turned away from landmarks like the Colosseum and the Taj Mahal so JD and his entourage can roam them in peace. Our time doesn’t matter, our plans don’t matter, we don’t matter. We pay for the trip, but we’re not welcome.

He acts like he owns the country. Like public services exist to entertain him. Like rivers are adjustable, museums are his, and rules are for other people. His kids don’t wait in line. We do.

And on the subject of bloated egos with small hands, Trump is trying to build a $200 million ballroom larger than the White House— while families are skipping meals and rationing insulin. VA hospitals are losing staff. Schools are being defunded. Clinics are closing. But these guys still find time to tour ruins, sip wine, and pose for cameras.

And the wildest part? A big chunk of the working class is still cheering for them. Still yelling their names while they get looted blind.

These frauds are not serving anyone but themselves.

And if that doesn’t piss you off, you’re not paying attention.
