Trump's trial shouldn't like an election. It should be decided in a court room, not on Facebook or Twitter. If I was the Decider, he would already be standing in front of a firing squad but I'm not and if he is ever indicted-- somewhat doubtful considering the pathetic nature of Biden's attorney general-- a jury will look at the evidence and make a decision based on it, although amidst countless appeals and maneuvers and, possibly, another insurrection.
Over the weekend there were reports that Biden has spoken out about the guilt of Trump and his Russian ally, the butcher/war criminal. In the case of Trump, the discussion haven't been public, which is a good thing. The NY Times reported that Merrick Garland's "deliberative approach has come to frustrate Democratic allies of the White House and, at times, President Biden himself. As recently as late last year, Mr. Biden confided to his inner circle that he believed Trump was a threat to democracy and should be prosecuted, according to two people familiar with his comments." I have doubts in my gut about that reporting.
On the other hand, Biden is pretty open about Putin having crossed over from mere aggressor to war criminal. This morning, after the atrocities in Bucha were revealed and were seared into the minds of millions or people all over the world, Biden told reporters flatly that Putin is a war criminal. "This guy is brutal, and what’s happening in Bucha is outrageous and everyone’s seen it... I think it is a war crime. ... He should be held accountable." He said prosectors need to start gathering evidence. Pity the U.S. isn't a member of the International Court of Justice in the Hague. (Genocide and crimes against humanity isn't condoned when Russia does it but it perfectly fine when the U.S. does, soit gets a little touchy there... not that that should excuse Putin-- maybe they should throw George W Bush into the mix as well?)
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier accused Russian forces of committing genocide, saying that Ukrainians are being “destroyed and exterminated.”
Bucha’s mayor has said about 300 residents of the town had been killed at the time that fighters from Chechnya controlled the area.
Russia has denied allegations that its troops killed civilians in Bucha, with its Defense Ministry calling the claims a “provocation.”
Biden said Monday, “You may remember, I got criticized for calling Putin a war criminal” last month.
“Well, the truth of the matter, you saw what happened in Bucha. This warrants him-- he is a war criminal,” Biden said.
“But we have to gather the information. We have to continue to provide Ukraine with the weapons they need to continue the fight,” the president said.
“We have to get all the detail so this can be ... a war crime trial.”
Trumpists-- though not Trump yet-- are claiming that the bodies are actually just actors who are trying to set up Putin as a bad guy. some are claiming the actors were the same one pretending to be the bodies used in the various NRA gun massacres around America, like the Sandy Hook Elementary School which deranged right-wingers still claim never happened.
proving that nazis and americans are just dumber than shit.
even Hitler knew to kill prisoners and dress them in Polish uniforms.
the nazi media would be smarter to claim that the dead are russian pows and russian-speaking women and kids killed by the Ukrainians and scattered on the street.
Evidently, they forgot to read that chapter in... every single history of Nazi Germany.
