Jeez, Pastor Locke, show me in the bible where the Barbie doll touched you.
How sick in the head do you have to be to spend a hundred dollars or two on a Barbie Dreamhouse, then stop off at a sporting goods store for a baseball bat, and then move on to one of the few remaining bookstores to pick up a couple of extra bibles, all just because you wish to publicly demonstrate the violence potential of your obvious insanity to your congregation of fellow Nazi-lovin' nutjobs? Answer: Real, real sick, but, it comes with the territory.
Pastor Greg Locke is just the latest example of a whole party of lunatics who feel threatened by dolls, beer cans, and books. And, yes, word is that Locke is a pastor known for hosting book burnings. I know, that would be shocking, right? Even more shocking would be if, instead of destroying a Barbie Dreamhouse on stage in his "Church," he went and bought a Barbie Dreamhouse and donated it to a local orphanage, but that just wouldn't fit with Christianity's message of hate and destruction would it?
Addendum: By the way, this is the kind of stuff that is satirized by HBO's terrific Righteous Gemstones TV series that stars John Goodman and others. The show even includes a wacko band of idiots called "The Smut Busters" that might remind you of Pastor Locke. The show's third season has just ended and I recommend you start at the beginning of season one, but that's why God created On Demand.
